How To Recover a Lost WiFi Password

Recovery of WiFi password from Windows operating system:

Step 1) Go to the Start menu and type “View network connections” and then press enter.

Step 2) Click on the WiFi you want to recover the password from and then select the option of “Status”

Step 3) Click on the “Wireless Properties” option in the next menu and then click on “Security”

Step 4) Click on “Show Characters” this will make your password visible.

Recovery of WiFi password from Macintosh operating system :

Sep 1) Open the “Finder” app in your Apple laptop or phone and click on “Utilities” given in the left hand side of the webpage.

Step 2) Press on “Key Chain Access.app” to open it.

Step 3) Select “System” and “Passwords” is and click on your WiFi.

Step 4) Check the “Show Password” window after entering your admin ID and password.

Recovery of WiFi password from Android Operating System based phones:

In your android phone, you must be using a WiFi key recovery utility to recover lost password. Of you have that utility then it is easy to recover your password.

Recovery of WiFi password from Router using Reset Method:

You can reset your WiFi password to a default password using your router. In your router, there is a key which is labeled as “Reset”. You need to press the key for 10 seconds to reset the router. After that the WiFi will be reset.

If your Internet provider has given you a router, there might be a default password attached to it. If you have not changed the default password, you can use the default password to recover your password. You need to look for the box to check the default password to recover password.
